A Life-Saving Addition to Our Premises
We are proud to announce that a public access defibrillator has been installed outside The Sussex Sign Company, provided through Benenden Health.
This device is available to the public and can be accessed by contacting emergency services. In the event of a cardiac emergency, calling 999 will allow the operator to provide the access code and guide users through the process.
Why Defibrillators Matter
Every year in the UK, tens of thousands of people suffer sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospital. Immediate CPR and the use of a defibrillator can more than double the chances of survival.
A defibrillator works by delivering a controlled electric shock to the heart, helping it return to a normal rhythm. Modern devices are designed to be used by members of the public and provide clear voice instructions throughout.
